 MCRD INFO
Both Parris Island and San Diego train males and only Parris Island trains females. As a poolee, you will ship on a Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday unless something changes your ship date such as bad weather, a holiday, etc etc. No matter what day you ship during the week, you will all be in the same company. All companies do the same training, so don't buy too much into the bullshit that one battalion or company is tougher then another.

These companies and battalions continuously rotate throughout the year and once the company graduates, they usually take 2-3 weeks off before picking up a new batch of recruits. Since there are fewer females in the USMC, they ship to boot camp during less weeks during the year and therefore do not graduate every time there is a graduation aboard Parris Island. There are non shipping and non graduating weeks throughout the year meaning poolees do not ship every week and they do not graduate every week.

Below is a breakdown of the battalions and which companies make up that battalion.

1st Battalion (all male)
Alpha Company
Bravo Company
Charlie Company
Delta Company

2nd Battalion  (all male)
Echo Company
Fox Company
Golf Company
Hotel Company

3rd Battalion (all male)
India Company
Kilo Company
Lima Company
Mike Company

4th Battalion (all female)
November Company
Oscar Company
Papa Company

The below info is your 2017 graduation date, the battalion and company you will be in, and the platoons that will make up your company. To find out your info you will need a  calendar. You are going to add 13 weeks to your ship date and this will give you one of the below dates. If your ship date is on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, just start counting your 13 weeks from that Monday. If you do this correctly, your 13th week will end on a Friday and you should find that date in the below schedule. You want to count Monday through Friday and this equals one week and so on and so forth until you hit the 13th week/Friday.

Make sure you count 13 weeks and not 12 or 14. If your 13th week falls on a holiday, your graduation date may be one or two days before meaning you will not graduate on a Friday.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd battalions are for males only. 4th battalion is for all females. And you will not know your exact platoon number until you arrive in boot camp. If your ship dates gets changed, your info is going to change, so you need to redo this process with your new ship date.

And for the love of God, 3rd Battalion is not something to be feared. All battalions and companies do the exact same shit.
